Christian humility is not some form of pietistic self-abasement that puffs us up with a sense of virtue. Christian humility is an act of worship, where our focus is on the splendour and glory and beauty of the Lord God our Creator, and in response to which we see ourselves as we really are - marvellously made in His image but insignificant apart from His love for us.
