We would like to make this opportunity freely available to all. We ask participants to cover their own costs where possible. But many of those we hope to work with need some financial assistance to attend meetings.
By God’s grace we hope to be able to cover the following costs for each group’s activity over the course of one year:
Our two senior staff do not receive any income from the Cross-Current project. Besides some administrative staff costs, we have no overheads (we have no office and use our own equipment).
Altogether though we estimate the cost of running five groups each meeting twice a year will come to €30,000 ($42,000). So we need your help!
Donations can be made online through www.ifesworld.org/give. And if you are either a UK or US tax payer then your gifts can be made tax efficiently. If you are giving in any other country then it should be possible for gifts to be made through your National IFES movement.

- Administration support - £200
- Telephone meetings using landlines - £600 (less for VOIP phone users)
- Annual conference (travel + accommodation) - £2000
- Additional face to face meeting - £2200
- And we would like to be able to develop rich web resources and other communications, costing €5000 in the first year.
